In conjunction with StopHate.com and The Prisoner’s Record Campaign we have launched an effort to provide all those indefinitely detained for January 6th with Food, Clothing, and monthly Allowance to cover Phone Calls & Messaging costs so they may communicate with family! We have heard multiple reports from these very Political Prisoners that their food rations have been drastically cut since our rally in Washington DC on September 18, and reports that some are having their food messed with on a daily basis (moldy food, wet food, and mice gnawed food. This kind of treatment on top of the other things we know has been happening cannot be allowed to stand. Rather than continue to wait for justice via. internal investigations, we have decided to be more proactive – and ask for your support in this endeavor.
The Prisoner’s Record has created a new room called The Prisoner’s Record Campaign where those interested in buying Food or Clothes directly for the Political Prisoners can do so by adopting a prisoner, opening an account to purchase jail food & clothing, and also contribute directly to their accounts. The information for this is as follows:
Please use 👉accesscatalog.com to create an account and send Food or Clothing with accesscatalog.com. Maximum allowed per prisoner is $125/month. Ordered Sunday, shipped Monday, Received Thursday. We will ask family members for confirmation. And please write as many as you can to encourage and also ask for confirmation. Please tell them you are part of @thePrisonersRecord family who have been praying for them since July 22, 2021.
Fund Commissary accounts with cash for flexible spending. $50 to $100 donations are very much appreciated and fills most communication needs for the month. Please get with other sponsors to combine donations or take turns to donate larger amounts to reduce fees. 👉 https://doc.dc.gov/service/automated-inmate-deposits.
ALTERNATIVELY….
C.A.P.P. (Citizens Against Political Persecution) has set up a DONATION campaign – specifically for this purpose – for those that would rather just contribute the funds. This Political Prisoner Food & Clothes campaign has been set up in such a way that you can either DONATE directly to a General Fund, or to an individual that remains in detention due to the events surrounding January 6th. Further, we have provided the flexibility for each charitable gift to either be a one-time gift, or a monthly-recurring gift. 100% of all funds raised through this campaign will be placed directly onto the inmates’ account each week (just please keep in mind that the fee for adding funds to their account varies from $2.99 to $6.99 per transaction, based on the method used and prison policy).
Further, we will be providing a Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly detailed report (down below) with the funds that have come in, and how, when, and to who they were dispersed. This transparency is intended to reassure each one who donates to this effort, that the donations are going specifically to where it is intended. If you have any questions, or need more details – please do not hesitate to contact Randy Ireland at (347) 543-2589.
